چکیده
The quantum metrological performance of spin coherent states superposition is considered, and conditions for measurements with the Heisenberg-limit (HL) precision are identified. It demonstrated that choice parameter-generating operator can lead to physically different estimation outcomes. In particular, closed-form analytical descriptions cat derived. These findings show routes careful control parameters necessary achieving HL provide insightful information on geometry specific state its relevance parameter estimations.

An Entanglement Study of Superposition of Qutrit Spin-Coherent States
Considering generalized concurrence as the criterion of entanglement, we study entanglement properties of superposition of two qutrit coherent states, as a function of their amplitudes. These states may attain maximum entanglement or no entanglement at all, depending on the choice of the parameters involved. The states revealing maximum entanglement also display the maximum violations of the Be...

We explore the sensitivity of an interferometer based on a quantum circuit for coherent states. We show that its sensitivity is at the Heisenberg limit. Moreover we show that this arrangement can measure very small length intervals. There exists a well known isomorphism between interferometers and basic quantum processing circuits. In particular the circuit comprising a Hadamard gate followed b...
متن کاملSpin-phase interference, coherent superposition, and quantum tunneling at excited levels in nano-antiferromagnets
The spin-phase interference effects are studied analytically in resonant quantum tunneling of the Néel vector between degenerate excited levels in nanometer-scale single-domain antiferromagnets in the absence of an external magnetic field. We consider a model for mesoscopic antiferromagnets with uncompensated excess spins for the more general structure of magnetic anisotropy, such as biaxial, t...

In recent years, a variety of solid-state qubits has been realized, including quantum dots1,2, superconducting tunnel junctions3,4 and point defects5,6. Due to its potential compatibility with existing microelectronics, the proposal by Kane7,8 based on phosphorus donors in Si has also been pursued intensively9–11. A key issue of this concept is the readout of the P quantum state. While electric...
